Staying at Hotel Leku Eder has been frustrating. First, there was no evening meal service, which forced us to trek into San Sebastián every night. Additionally, the drive to the hotel was not only long but also incredibly challenging due to sharp turns and narrow roads, which could intimidate many travelers. As if that wasn't enough, with no air conditioning, our room was stifling during the warm weather.

Breakfast spread kept me full most of the day.

The staff here made my stay incredibly enjoyable with their genuine helpfulness. I felt welcomed the moment I arrived, especially when offered some delicious Iberian ham and cheese since many places were closed late at night. The views of the cliffs and sea from the breakfast room were stunning, making each morning special. My room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The bus service right outside made it easy to get to the Old Town in about 10 minutes for a very reasonable fare. I did find the absence of an evening meal service a bit inconvenient, as I had to travel to San Sebastián for dinner. A USB charging port in the room would have made things easier, but I managed without it. The breakfast spread kept me full most of the day, with a good selection including cereals and fresh pastries. The location away from the busy city center offered a peaceful retreat. Sounds from other rooms did travel a bit, so bringing earplugs might help light sleepers.

The bus right outside made it super easy to get into the city in about 20 minutes, which worked perfectly for visiting attractions like La Concha Beach and the Aquarium.
